With school getting busy and midterms and spring break taking up the last few weeks in March, this post got pushed a little far back. Spending most of my money on plane tickets and Airbnbs, I haven't been trying lots of new products or buying new clothes so most of my favorites have stayed the same. However, I still want to tell you guys about what I have been loving and I may have treated myself a couple times once or twice to something new so with that being said...
Here are my (better late than never) March favorites!
1. Trend: Ankle/Calf Socks
This has been a trend for a while now, but recently, that is all I can get on my feet. It is the easiest and simplest way to keep your outfit interesting with a little bit of edge. Currently, I am wearing my puma socks on repeat because that is all I have in my closet abroad. However, white Nike socks are always classic and I've also seen some at stores like Zara with cute little sayings on them.

2. Blue Lagoons of Cyprus
During spring break, my friends and I went to Greece and Cyprus, we had a great time in both places, however, my favorite day of the trip was spent in Cyprus. The first day in Paphos, I'm not going to lie, I was a little underwhelmed. We stayed local, we tried the beach but it was a little too cold with the wind and ended up laying by the apartment's pool and later hanging out at a local bar. It wasn't until the second day in Cyprus (and the last full day of our trip) we decided to take a 30-40 minute taxi ride to Lachi Port, where we took a 3-hour boat tour of the Blue Lagoons and fell in love with the island. From the restaurant filled port to Aphrodite's Bath, we soaked up the sun on the roof of the boat and even took a little dip in the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean. This was definitely my favorite part of the trip ~ you know what they say ~ boat days are the best days.

3. Trend: Gold Jewelry
I have always chosen gold or silver and it has always been a favorite of mine. However, since gold jewelry, particularly hoops and pendant necklaces have been in trend for a little bit now, I figured I'd add it to my favorites list. I definitely love and an active participant in both the hoop and pendant necklace trend, I especially love really big hoops and layering my necklaces.
I decided to add this to my March monthly favorites because while in Greece, we stumbled upon a bunch of really cute jewelry stores. While some shops were way out of my price range, there were a few that had extremely reasonably priced jewelry. At one store, I decided to treat myself to some cheap BUT good quality jewelry that won't turn my skin green (which is always the goal). I bought a pair of really cute earrings and a pendant necklace, that I haven't taken off. The only thing I am not loving completely is the earings, while they are so so cute, they are a bit thicker than my normal earnings, so they tend to make my ears a bit sore. Other than that, I'm am really happy with my purchase. Yeah, the earings hurt to put in my ears, but they're cute, they were only 3 euro and they won't turn my ear green.

Round Pendant Necklace: A Jewelry Store in Crete, Greece
Rectangular Pendant Necklace: Princess P. Jewelry
Small Hoops: Jewelry Store in Crete, Greece
Large Hoops: Forever 21

4. Amazon Bathing Suits
I have an upcoming video that is supposed to be posted sometime this month with an entire review of my bathing suits from Amazon but for this post, I will keep it short and simple. I am balling on a budget and until I am not, I am here for cheap amazon swimsuits.

5. The Weeknd's New Album "My Dear Melancholy"
As I am sure you all know by now, The Weeknd released some new music a week or so ago and it's great. I used to be a huge fan of The Weeknd until he became more mainstream and his music changed. However, his most recent release feels a lot more like his old stuff aka I have it on repeat.

Spring as officially begun, and I'm hoping this warm weather comes quick!
Stay tuned for my April Favorites!
